Shanah GaviaPA-C, MPAS is an extraordinarily qualified Los Angeles dermatological Physician’s Assistant, where she specializes in a bevy of sought after cosmetic and medical procedures. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University where she received her B.S. in Community Health Education, before continuing her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she acquired her B.S. and certificate for Surgical Physician Assistant. Furthering her education, in 2003 Shanah received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies with an emphasis in Dermatology. She has worked alongside top-tier dermatologist, Douglas Hamilton M.D. for the past 20 years (since 1/2001) where she has excelled in various procedures ranging from Botox to skin cancer removal.

Shanah was featured on Telemundo for her efficiency in Vasculight. She is accomplished in advanced Botox/Dysport techniques as well as a myriad of other cosmetic applications such as; Sclerotherapy, fillers such as Restylane, and Juvederm, chemical peels, laser hair removal and tattoo removal.

Aside from Shanah’s cosmetic prowess and passion for achieving natural looking results, she is highly experienced in treating various dermatological conditions as well. She has trained other medical professionals in her field. Additionally, her ability to remove moles and growths with minimal scarring has made her widely acclaimed in the dermatological world.

Shanah continues her education in dermatology in attending seminars and conferences pertaining to both general and cosmetic dermatology. She has a special interest in a holistic/integrative dermatology approach. She remains certified with her California state license and with the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the following professional organizations: Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and California Dermatology Physician Assistant Society.
