August 2012: Dr. Hamilton was selected as a Top Dermatologist in Los Angeles, CA by the International Association of Dermatologists (IAD). He will soon be spotlighted in the renowned publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. The IAD spotlights physicians that have demonstrated sucess and leadership in their profession.

November 2011: American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) seminar "Cosmetic Chaos: How to Stay Coherent Following Complications" was held on Saturday 5 November in Washington D.C. The seminar was moderated by Dr. Hamilton and Vic Narurkar, M.D.

October 2011: The textbook Master Techniques in Blepharoplasty and Periorbital Rejuvenation was released this month with a chapter by Dr. Hamilton on Periorbital Laser Resurfacing. Master Techniques in Blepharoplasty and Eyelid Reconstruction is the definitive textbook and atlas for any surgeon interested in this topic.

May 2011: Dr. Hamilton has been invited to moderate with Vic Narurkar, M.D. at the annual meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) in Washington D.C. in November 2011 in the afternoon seminar entitled, "Cosmetic Chaos: How to Stay Coherent Following Complications."

November 2010: Dr. Hamilton's classification of the aging face was noted in the article "Development and Validation of a 6-Point Grading Scale in Patients Undergoing Correction of Nasolabial Folds with a Collagen Implant," (American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Journal, November 2010) as one of the 5 most frequently used grading systems for evaluating the changes that the face undergoes as it ages.

May 2009: Dr. Hamilton was invited to speak at the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS) 30th Annual Scientific Conference and Exhibition on May 4-6, 2009 in Tampa, FL. He will be speaking about Skin Fillers: A Comparison of Available Materials

October 2008: Dr. Hamilton spoke at the Advances in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery 2nd annual conference held at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, October 25-26, 2008 on Fractional Laser Resurfacing.

April 2008: Dr. Hamilton was invited by BioForm, the manufacturers of Radiesse, to speak at the annual Medical Education Faculty (MEF) meeting. Attendees include select board-certified dermatologists, facial plastic surgeons and general plastic surgeons around the country. Dr. Hamilton spoke about his jaw augmenting procedure using Radiesse™.

February 2008: Dr. Hamilton was invited to speak at the Maui Derm conference about ArteFill.

December 2007: Dr. Hamilton has been appointed Chair of the New Technologies Work Group of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS)! This committee is responsible for reviewing and reporting (virtually monthly) on every technology (lasers, fillers, radiofrequency, infrared, plasma, etc.) available in the U.S.

November 2007: Dr. Hamilton spoke at the “Advances in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery conference” to be held at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, November 3rd-4th.

October 2007: Dr. Hamilton spoke on behalf of ProCyte, a PhotoMedex Company, at their “Discover Winning Ways to Dispense for Success” seminar in Newport Beach on October 10th. He presented ProCyte’s copper peptide technology story (its benefits, results, studies, etc.).

August 2007: Dr. Hamilton traveled to Brazil to meet with colleague Dr. Doris Hexsel and to learn more innovation techniques for the cellucision procedure.

July 2007: Dr. Hamilton was invited to the "Leaders in Dermatology" retreat in San Francisco on July 14-15, 2007. The meeting was sponsored by BioForm Medical. The stated intent was to foster an exchange of ideas "amongst the 20-30 leading dermatologist in the country."

June 2007: Dr. Hamilton was one of two U.S. physicians (the other, Peter Rullan, M.D.) invited to the 1st World PMMA Summit held in Miami on June 10, 2007. Ten leading dermatologists and plastic surgeons from Canada, Germany, England (and the United States) took part in a full-day round table discussion on the use of PMMA fillers, including ArteFill and ArteColl. The results of the meeting will be published in one of the journals from these cosmetic specialties.

December 2006: Dr. Hamilton currently has an article in publication with the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery entitled, "Late Onset Recurrent Facial Nodules Associated with Injection of Polylactic Acid (Sculptra): An Approach to Treatment."

November 2006: Dr. Hamilton has been asked to chair a select committee of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery regarding the development of a position paper on Juvederm.

September 2006 : Meeting of American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Hamilton lectures facial plastic surgeons on his experience with Artefill.

August 2006: Conference on Elective Procedures. Dr. Hamilton demonstrated to opthalmo- and plastic surgeons the Radiesse injection technique on two of his patients live at the meeting.
